Australia have tightened their grip on the top spot in the latest ICC Men’s Test Team Rankings, released on 26 November 2025, reaffirming their status as the most consistent side in the longest format. The updated table reflects both recent series outcomes and long-term performances across nations, offering a clear picture of the shifting competitive landscape in Test cricket.

According to the latest figures, Australia lead the standings with an impressive 3,732 points from 30 matches, securing a commanding rating of 124. South Africa hold firm in second place with 3,581 points and a rating of 116 from 31 matches, continuing their steady climb through disciplined performances at home and overseas. England remain close behind in third, collecting 4,469 points across 40 Tests for a rating of 112, underscoring their resurgence under new leadership.

India, once consistent title contenders, now sit in fourth position with a rating of 104 from 4,064 points in 39 matches, reflecting an uneven run of form over the past year. New Zealand follow in fifth with 2,409 points and a rating of 96 from 25 matches, while Sri Lanka occupy sixth place with a rating of 88 based on 2,364 points in 27 games.

Pakistan, wrestling with bouts of inconsistency, rank seventh with 2,050 points from 25 matches and a rating of 82. The West Indies stand eighth, gathering 2,036 points in 29 matches for a rating of 70.
